A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Cabernet Franc and grown in the warm climate of the Lodi region at the northern end of California?s Central Valley. Whilst the wine is dominated by the blackcurrant flavours of the Cabernet Sauvignon, the addition of Syrah and Cabernet Franc provides complexity with raspberry and cherry notes. Brief ageing in french oak adds a layer of toasty spice.
This is part of the Ironstone Vineyards family. Located between the San Francisco Bay and the Sierra Nevada Mountains lies Lodi Wine Country, a region quickly emerging as one of California's most exciting wine destinations.
